So since Elizabeth was born I have just pretty much let her determine her schedule. But now she is at the point where she is fighting against falling asleep even more then before. So I have started a night time routine. It was terrible for the first 4 or 5 days. She didn't go to bed earlier then 11 and bath time was a nightmare. She just constantly cried and screamed at the top of her lungs. But the last two nights have been awesome compared to the first few. We are still working on bath time. She used to love taking baths and she loves swimming so I am not sure what the problem is. But she has been in bed before nine the last two nights which has given me some baby free time to do what I want. Her favorite time is story time. She has a couple of favorite books already. I am experiencing reading the same books over and over again. I would say her top three are Baby Faces, Moo, Baa, LA LA LA, and Ee-I-Ee-I-Moo. I love reading them to her but after the third or fourth time it gets tiring. That is when I or her daddy put her to sleep.
If anybody has any ideas about how to make bath time a more enjoyable and fun time feel free to let me know.

teeth and trips
Since the last time I posted Elizabeth has gained 5 teeth she has four up on top and 3 on the bottom now. She hasn't started walking yet but she still manages to get into everything and she even will wonder off by herself now.

She is getting too big too fast
So Elizabeth is crawling better now. She is also pulling herself up onto her feet to standing position. The other day I walked into her room and I saw her standing there peeking over the edge. She is also eating some food. She has tried squash and peaches and she likes them both.
Another thing that happened is my car went to crap. It is sitting at my dads house doing nothing useful for me. I don't know what is wrong and I don't have the money to take it to the shop so its just going to have to sit there for awhile until I get the money. It might just be done.
I am so excited for November. We are all going to go to PA to visit Brian's dads side of the family. It will be the first time that they get to see Elizabeth.
Thats all I got for now. Here are some pics of my beautiful little girl.

Six Months
So Elizabeth turned six months old yesterday. It is scary how fast she is growing. She is scooting around really well and she gets up on her hands and knees and tries to crawl but usually just falls on her face. But then gets back up again. She really wants to get going. She is also starting to be able to sit up for longer periods of time without falling. She still hasn't really got up to sitting position by herself though. She has more fun rolling around and scooting.
On another note. Yesterday we decided to go to Albany for Panda Express and then Springfield to Best Buy. It was all fine and dandy until we started heading home and the truck started to overheat. We already knew there was a leak but it hadn't really been a big deal yet. But yesterday it decided to become a huge issue. So we had to keep putting water and coolant in it up to the point where it wouldn't even go a mile without overheating. So long story short we had to get towed. Worst part about it is we were and hour and a half away from home. But thankfully it all worked out. We still have to pick the truck up but its all fixed now.

doctors appointment
So we just got back from a doctors appointment. We found out she weighs 13lbs 4oz. Which is less then both of us thought. Brian thought she was 15 to 16lbs and I thought 14 to 15lbs. But she is still on track. I believe she a little over 24 inches long now.
She also has her two bottom teeth coming in. She is getting so big so fast.

MORE ABOUT MY SWEETHEART
So on my last blog I was backwards. She was rolling from her tummy to her back. She rolled from her back to her tummy about three days ago and now she is going nuts with it. You turn your head for a minute and she is three feet away from you. I love it. At least for now. She just wants to get going.
She has also changed her sleep schedule. She usually falls asleep around midnight and gets up around 7 which is awesome. But tonight for some reason she is already sleeping.

She can roll over
So a couple days ago Elizabeth successfully rolled over. And I missed it. But that is okay her daddy got to tell me about. She rolled from her tummy to her back. She can go from her back to her side but can't seem to go the rest of the way. She can also hold her head up really well. She is now about 11lbs.

update
This is her today at 11 weeks old. She looks like she has a Mohawk.
She has just discovered her feet a couple days ago. She likes to just stare at them. Once in awhile she will try to grab them but it seems like she would rather just watch herself move them.
She is finally on a pretty consistent schedule but she still has her off days. And I am finally getting 4 or 5 hours of sleep at a time. It is pretty awesome. I am also back at work. Which I don't like but I need the money so that is how it is.
And on Sunday she was baptized. She cried for that as well. But it was because the cold water woke her up.

I Love When She Smiles
Elizabeth is doing excellent. She is getting bigger everyday and she is doing more and more each day as well. She smiles a lot now. She can hold her head up tons better. It doesn't just flop around anymore. And she is awake a lot more which means more play time. But less nap time for me. Its worth it though.

I think we have made a choice
So things are going pretty good. We found a temporary home for trooper with my dad so that he won't get put down. Which is a big relief. It was a huge ordeal but we don't need to explain it all I am just happy he is still here.
Brian and I have been discussing what we are going to do. We really want to move elsewhere with better job opportunities. We were talking about PA because he would have a job but it would cost way too much to move there and we have almost zero money in savings. Another place we were discussing is Eugene. We would start off with roommates that we know and are friends with and hopefully get our own place not to long after. We like that area because if we were to stay there for awhile there are good schools for Elizabeth to attend. And there are colleges around the area for when I am able to go back to school. But before we can do that he needs to find a job over there. Thank goodness there are more job opportunities there. If we did move too Eugene it would be sometime in May of this year which is kind of soon so we need to decide quickly.
Elizabeth is doing really good. She is going to be 5 weeks this Thursday. I can't believe how fast things are going by. She is getting big. She is holding her head up a lot better and a lot longer now. Its definitely not stable but its not as flimsy like when she was first born. The last couple days she has gone to bed around 1 am and she gets up around 3 or 4 and then between 6 and 8 and then she will sleep until 11 or 11:30. I gotta go now she is awake. Lol

Wanting and waiting for a phone call
So Brian has applied for a marketing job that he was told about and we are really hoping for them to call. It would allow me to be able to stay at home with Elizabeth. Which is what I really want to do. And what he really wants me to do.
Elizabeth had a really good night last night. She actually slept for at least 3 to 4 hours at a time until about 6:30 which was awesome. And she slept in her Bassinet which she hasn't done that much lately. Her sleeping in her Bassinet means I got to sleep in my bed. Woo Hoo.

Rough Night
Last night was by far the roughest night we have had since Elizabeth came home. I got to sleep until 2:30 and then I was up until almost five trying to get her to fall back to sleep. She would fall asleep but I couldn't put her down otherwise she would start screaming and crying. Poor Brian was up even longer and he had to work at 6 this morning. Luckily he only worked until one and was able to take a nap when he got home. Hopefully tonight will be a little better.

The Crazy First Week
So Elizabeth is already almost a week old. She has been home for 4 days and it hasn't been too bad. I am still trying to get used to my new sleeping pattern. Which should be the same as hers but hasn't been. I do sleep when she sleeps but not every time she sleeps. It definitely hasn't been the easiest week for me but things seem to be settling down and are becoming easier. I didn't realize how much I love my little girl until the day I finally met her. It is beyond words.
