May Already!

So quite a bit has gone on the last few months. Elizabeth turned 1 at the end of February. Her birthday party went very well. She had lots of fun opening presents and playing with another baby friend and her 4 year old cousin. She took her first steps in the beginning of April. She still prefers crawling over walking but she is taking a few more steps everyday. She is working on a couple molars which seem to be taking there time coming in. She had a blast on Easter we were able to go to church and see everybody which was very nice. She loved opening her Easter Basket. I am not sure if she liked the chalk or the bubbles better. Or maybe it was the large pink bunny she liked best. She made a lot of oo's and ah's and lots of big smiles. Just this week we decided to move her into a toddler bed because we couldn't get her to sleep in her crib. She has been doing wonderful with it and every night she sleeps in it longer. YAY!! I got my bed back.
We also moved in April. We live in a slightly bigger and quieter place. Which is very nice. When we get enough chairs we will actually be able to eat at the table all together. Which I am looking forward to. And with the great garage sale weekend coming up we might be able to do that soon.
As for me I am doing good. I really want to go back to school this fall but the closer September gets the further away going back to school feels.

BONK!!!!

So Elizabeth seems to be learning something new everyday. She knows how to do the stinky face and actually knows what it is. When we read Baby Faces and get to that page she makes the face it is too cute. She also knows what a ducky is. When we ask her to go get it she goes and finds it and then shows it to us. A few other things she knows how to do and has known for a couple months is momma, dada, high five and peek-a-boo. Oh and she loves to read. After bath time she goes straight to the books. She is such a joy. I think its awesome when I see other kids learn new things but it is nothing like watching my own little one learn something new.
A game she has recently learned in Bonk! All it is is when we say bonk we bonk heads with each other. It is funny. The other day I was sitting with her and she was leaning up against the wall and she tapped her head against it and she kept doing it. I think she liked the cool bonking sound it made.
