Scheduleing

So since Elizabeth was born I have just pretty much let her determine her schedule. But now she is at the point where she is fighting against falling asleep even more then before. So I have started a night time routine. It was terrible for the first 4 or 5 days. She didn't go to bed earlier then 11 and bath time was a nightmare. She just constantly cried and screamed at the top of her lungs. But the last two nights have been awesome compared to the first few. We are still working on bath time. She used to love taking baths and she loves swimming so I am not sure what the problem is. But she has been in bed before nine the last two nights which has given me some baby free time to do what I want. Her favorite time is story time. She has a couple of favorite books already. I am experiencing reading the same books over and over again. I would say her top three are Baby Faces, Moo, Baa, LA LA LA, and Ee-I-Ee-I-Moo. I love reading them to her but after the third or fourth time it gets tiring. That is when I or her daddy put her to sleep.
If anybody has any ideas about how to make bath time a more enjoyable and fun time feel free to let me know.

Getting into a schedule can be tough but you will be glad once you are settled in. That baby-free time is important too.

As far as the bath, maybe she is just cranky b/c she is a little tired from a changed sleeping routine? Maybe it is cold when she gets out (AJ's favorite excuse for not getting out of bed in the a.m.)? You most certainly don't have to give her a bath every night, so don't be afraid to skip it a couple nights and see if that helps. Throw in some new plastic cups, spoons, whatever is handy from the kitchen for her to play with.

Bet you've got those books memorized!

Miss and love you guys...
